ONE MOTORSPORT TO BE POWERED BY TOCA M-SPORT ENGINES IN 2025

One Motorsport can today (March 10) confirm that it will power its Honda Civic Type R’s with the TOCA M-Sport engine in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship this season.
Making a triumphant return to Britain’s leading race series after undertaking a planned year-long sabbatical, the Brackley-based team have taken the decision to go down an exciting new route under the bonnet of its two front-wheel-drive machines.
The team last ran the ‘TOCA BTCC engine’ – produced by M-Sport – in 2022, where they produced a number of strong performances and enjoyed much success with the package.
Having worked in conjunction with M-Sport over recent months, delivery of the engines is expected any time now before the team kicks off its pre-season testing programme at Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire on April 1-2.
Steve Dudman, One Motorsport Team Owner: “We’re looking forward to working with M-Sport this coming season; we feel that the use of the TOCA BTCC engine which has been developed further – along with the improvements we’ve made to the car using our original Honda chassis – gives us the best chance of success moving forward this season.
“There were a number of reasons as to why we feel the TOCA BTCC engine is the way to go, and it’s been a collaborative decision within the team to get to this point. So far the dialogue back and forth has been nothing but positive.
“We’re preparing to take collection of the engines soon and then it’ll be about integrating them into the updated cars ahead of testing. This is an exciting step for us as a team and we’re looking forward to finally hitting the track in the coming weeks.”
Donington Park provides the setting for the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season-opener on April 26-27.
